During the beach cleanup last month, I received a question from a participant, "What do you do with the collected garbage?"
In Miyakojima City, when volunteering to clean the beach,
①Method of carrying collected garbage to Miyakojima City Clean Center by yourself
(2) There is a method of requesting the clean center to collect (preliminary application required).
*Please note that collection requests are limited to "beach cleaning".

Anyone can apply, regardless of whether they are a company or an individual, so I will briefly introduce how to apply.

● Things to do in advance
1 .Go to the Environmental Conservation Division on the 2 floor of the Miyakojima City General Government Building and submit an application.
→ Download the form from the Miyakojima City website in advance or receive it at the reception desk and fill it in.
The items to be filled in are location/time/number of people/applicant's name/address, etc.

2.Receive garbage bags for volunteers.
→Since it depends on the number of participants and location, it will be smoother if you decide the number of tickets you need in advance.

●What to do on the day
(1) Clean up as hard as you can.
1-1.Bring it to the clean center by yourself.
or,
1-2.Move garbage to a space where it is easy to collect it. (Collection is limited to beach cleaning.)

●Be careful
○ Be sure to separate garbage!
○ Place the collected garbage in an area where collection vehicles can enter. (Let's also consider the work efficiency of the workers)
